Training Sponsorship

Skilled leaders are an important part of the club infrastructure.

To promote development in this area the club will sponsor a limited number of leaders and potential leaders to undertake Mountain Safety Council courses. Fifty percent of course fees will be subsidised for Bushcraft I & II, River Crossing, Navigation, Risk Management and Outdoor First Aid Courses. Interested members must apply in writing to the committee - download this (PDF) application form. If application numbers are high in a specific course, the club will consider running a course internally.
