Follow Bruce Road from Whakapapa Village to the Top o’ the Bruce at Iwikau Village. Memorial Hut is located off the lower western side of the loop road.

Proceed some 50m beyond Tokoroa Hut (located on your left) climbing up the 10m rise and circling to the left where the ATC path diverges to the right (the track is marked at the junction with a pole and an ATC sign, but this may be obscured by snow).Follow this track a further 150m west to Memorial Hut. You should get there during daylight if possible as the track can sometimes be difficult to find at night.
